Is it possible to gradually lose your vision of color?
This has nothing to do with age. For anybody, young people included.
it is possible but not very common.
the most common causes of decrease in color perception is media opacity of the human eye (like cataracts/cloudiness of the human lens)
and refractive errors (light not being refracted clearly on the photo receptors/cones).
some strong medications (like for lupus) also cause toxicity and deterioration of the cones (photoreceptors) causing a decrease in color perception.
loss of color perception can also be attributed to hereditary trends,
may the ophthalmic forces be with you!
