Meter Alarm
9448 alarm reset?
Hello
Our house will have it’s electricity meter changed soon and they have advised us to switch off alarms etc..at our house.Can anyone please advice what precautions I need to take for 9448 alarm.I would want to be fully operational after meter is replaced.Also I don’t know how to turn it’s power off completely
Not sure if your alarm is the same as our’s but:
We had our meter replaced and we needed to unplug all plugs in the house (Incase of power spike) and with regard to the alarm we switched the fuse for the alarm off (The battery backup will keep all codes etc in memory) most alarms are wired into the fuse box with another item, ours were upstairs lights so we switched that off,
The person replacing the meter should be able to help with this if you get stuck
