Do black lettering tattoos fade on the arch of your foot?
Im thinking about getting a two worded phrase tattooed on the arch of my left foot. Ive heard that on your foot color tattoos fade very quickly, but i wanted to know if they fade fast for all black ones also?
i’ve had a tattoo on the arch of my feet for a year and it looks just as good as when i first got it done.
certain places are known to not look as good within a few years, and all foot tattoos are part of that category, as are many other popular places such as ankles, hands, inner lip, and wrists. these places have the most exposure and will need touch-ups more frequently, but it’s really not a big deal. i had asked my artist before getting it done and he said people totally overreact, and it doesn’t like, totally fade away like some people make it sound.
the top and bottom on the foot fade quicker than the sides would because shoes are mainly rubbing on the tops and bottoms of ur feet (unless you’re flat footed…), so the arch is a great place.
black fades less than all other inks, so i would worry the least if you’re getting black.
and just as a heads up, don’t worry about the pain, it only really stung closer up to my ankles. the actual arch was nothing
