How do I set up my PS3 network account?
Ok, I just got a 60 gig PS3, but I can’t figure out how to set up the network. Here are the details:
1. I have DSL
2. I have the ethernal cable that comes with the PS3 but theres no way for me to get the cable to reach all the way from my living room TV to my computer (all the way in the study room)
3. I don’t know what any of my information such as ISP
Please explain to me how to set up the network account. I would prefer to do it wirelessly but if there are any extension cords for the ethernal cable, let me know.
you could get a wireless router or buy a really long wire to connect to ps3. then when you get connected, go to the very end of the XMB(to the right) and there should be a thing where you sign up for psnetwork and just follow the steps
