blinking led?

I want to make my car look like it has an alarm by having a red led blinking inside.

what is the easiest, best, most efficient way of doing this. I am could use a soldering iron and have some basic eloctronic skills. I would prefer using parts I can easily get from radio shack. thanks

in order to make this thing easy and not so complicated you can purchase an LED that already blinks.

All you will need to do is wire up the power.
